Tahmina (film)

Tahmina Azerbaijani Thmin is a 1993 Azerbaijani romantic drama film. Screenplay was written by Anar Rzayev according to his novel The sixth floor of the 5story building. Directed by Rasim Ojagov, this film is in drama genre depicting the love affair between a male Zaur from an affluent family and a divorced female trying to make her best to survive in a conservative society. The film is considered as one of the best Azerbaijani movies produced in 1990s. The funding for the film was provided by a Turkish businessman.

1993 Baku 2nd film festival awarded Rasim Ojagov with Best Director award and Zarnigar Aghakishiyeva with Best Actress award.
